Litigation and dispute resolution have always been at the heart of our business. Each year, we litigate a large number of cases before the district courts, courts of appeal and the Supreme Court of Norway. Over the years, we have litigated many cases whose importance with respect to matters of legal principle have played a key part in the development of jurisprudence in Norway. The types of cases we litigate before the courts vary enormously, both with respect to their size and the areas of law concerned. A key aspect of every case is the assessment of procedural risk, choice of strategy and how the case should be presented in court.
