The law firm Elden Advokatfirma was established by attorney John Elden in 1963. His son, Attorney John Christian Elden, joined the firm in 1991.
We are currently one of Norway’s largest litigation firms, employing just under 150 people, 100 of whom are experienced lawyers or lawyers in training. We assist clients with a wide range of matters relating to both private and public law. Criminal law accounts for the bulk of our core business. We are currently Norway’s largest criminal law firm. We litigate cases before courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court. Eight of our lawyers have the right to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Norway.
We bring a high level of quality and professional expertise to all our cases. Our dedicated lawyers, who maintain a high ethical standard and are driven by a strong sense of professional pride, are the firm’s most valuable asset. For us, it is important to understand and meet each client’s individual needs and wishes. Because our lawyers specialise in widely different areas of the law, we are able to put together a customised team to protect your interests in the best way possible.
